Hi, I'm Jon Harrison Wood founder of Wood LLC and the umbrella of products & services owned by the firm. I studied Finance in undergrad at CU Boulder & have spent most of my career in IT Consulting.
My expertise spans both the deep IT stack (Cyber Security, Backup, Infrastructure) while working at the Software Distributor, Pax8. More recently I’ve spent time advising businesses on GTM strategy & building out this portfolio of services. This unique combination of financial knowledge and technical expertise drives the vision behind Wood LLC EIN: 92-1670796.

On a personal note, I acknowledges that any familial relationship to the Wood Group's founding lineage — tracing back to William Wood, who established the company in the early 1900s — is purely speculative and unconfirmed. Coincidently a family member shares the name William Wood III which is notable, but that does not constitute or imply any verified genealogical or business connection. Wood LLC operates independently under its own brand, values, and legal standing.

What is Wood LLC?
It started as a consulting firm focused on GTM strategy taking my learnings from selling cyber security solutions to MSPs. I wanted to do something similar to what my clients did in the deep IT stack for sales and marketing tech: now managed revenue operations.
The company looks more like a venture studio today.
What is a venture studio?
